We gathered around one table to eat, talk and listen to her experience. She remembered the companionship, help and understanding she had received during pregnancy and after birth.
One line from her message stayed with us: “At times like these, it is especially important to feel that you are not alone.” She remembered having someone who would listen patiently and care when something came up.
Her thanks made us want to thank her in return: for everything she had given along the way, and for the trust we had shared. We wish her and her family good health and peaceful days ahead.
