We picked up bread, fruit, drinks and everyday supplies, then called in at the residence. Bags were carried inside, the shopping was put on the table, and we sat down for a chat.
A child was there too, reaching for a small item we handed over while an adult stood nearby. We took photographs together. Bringing a few things and spending a little time with everyone is an ordinary part of the day that we value.
